After buying too many diaper bags, I realized I didn’t want to carry something that was designed just for my baby. So I went back to my handbag, only to find that the baby essentials (bottle holder, changing pad—all covered in polka dots or elephants) felt out of place in my favorite purse. Born from a love of fashion and the desire to be a stylish mom, Mommassentials by Funktion came to be….
Through Funktion sales, we’re thrilled to be giving back to a great charity called Progress Migration, a non-profit focused on providing single mothers in Africa with medical supplies, clean water and baby essentials. Our production is run through Joiga, a manufacturer which promotes healthy wages and education. We hope that at every touch-point, Funktion will improve the lives of those around us- both near and far.
